※ This species(Dasyscopelus selenops) is one of 23 unknown juvenile species collected in Korean waters. This collection conducted between 2017 and 2018 in a fishery resource survey by a related scientific society. It is thought that the specific study on this species has not yet been conducted, so no Korean name yet. I searched the internet for information on this species, but couldn't find anything other than the distribution and 2 preserved dead specimen pictures and 2 simple illuatrations
