분포; 인도•서태평양/일본, 타이완, 파푸아뉴기니, 아덴 만에 분포한다.
일반개요; 잘 알려지지 않은 심해 상어로서 185~450m 깊은 수심의 대륙붕 사면에 서식한다. 난태생이다. 등지느러미 끝 가장자리가 뚜렷하게 검다.

Distribution: Japan, Taiwan, and Gulf of Aden.
General: A little-known deepwater dogfish shark. Found on the upper continental slopes from 185 to 450m depths. Ovoviviparous. Adults with tips of dorsal fins black, prominently marked from base of fins.
