분포; 서북태평양/한국의 서해와 남해, 일본 남부, 동중국해, 타이완에 분포.
일반개요; 등지느러미와 뒷지느러미의 연조부 가장자리 및 꼬리지느러미의 가장자리가 검은색이다. 아래턱에 난 수염은 아주 짧다. 아가미뚜껑 가장자리에 2개의 가시가 있다. 몸은 옅은 황갈색 바탕이며 너비가 넓은 6개의 어두운 갈색 수직무늬가 있다. 연안의 모래, 개펄 지역에 서식한다.

Distribution: Northwest Pacific/western and southern Korea, southern Japan, East China Sea and Taiwan.
General: Soft-rayed portion of dorsal and anal fins and caudal fin with black posterior margin. Barbels on lower jaw very short. Pale brown in body color with six broad dark brown vertical bands. Opercle with two spines. Inhabits the sublittoral zone on sandy mud bottom.
