블루헤드 타일피쉬(Bluehead tilefish)
Hoplolatilus starcki (Randall & Dooley, 1974). 15cm(TL)
분포; 서태평양/인도네시아, 필리핀, 마이크로네시아, 마리아나 제도, 오스트렐리아 북부, 피지 및 동중부 태평양의 핏카이른(Pitcairn)섬까지 분포한다.
일반개요; 유어는 몸 전체가 특별한 무늬 없이 밝은 청색이며 성어는 머리와 가슴지느러미 부분까지 청색이며 몸은 황갈색이며 배쪽으로 밝아진다. 꼬리지느러미는 위와 아래 가장자리와 중심부 후반부를 제외하고 밝은 노랑색이다. 수심 20~105m 암초 경사면에 서식하며 급하면 바닥의 굴집으로 숨는다. 보통 두 마리가 짝지어 있다. 유어들은 가끔 무리를 짓는데 색깔이 비슷한 바리과 어류(Pseudanthias pascalus)와 섞인다. 동물플랑크톤을 먹는다.

Distribution: Western Pacific/Indonesia, northern Australia, Fiji, Micronesia, Mariana Islands, Philippines, range extends to Pitcairn.
General: Juveniles entirely sky blue without markings. Tan, shading to pale ventrally, with a broad area of blue on head and basal half of pectoral fin. Caudal fin yellow except for upper and lower margins and a distal area in middle of fin. Feeds on zooplankton. Inhabits steep outer reef slopes. Depth range 20~105m. Usually seen in pairs that quickly dive head first into their burrow when disturbed. Juveniles occasionally school with similarly colored juveniles of Pseudanthias pascalus.
