분포; 서태평양/일본 남부, 타이완, 마이크로네시아와 오스트렐리아 제외한 서태평양에 분포
일반개요; 몸은 백색 바탕이며 가슴지느러미를 제외한 나머지 지느러미들은 노랑색이다. 배지느러미는 희미하게 노랗거나 백색이다. 노랑 점들이 체측에 비늘 열을 따라 대각선 열을 이루고 있다. 몸체의 뒷부분 가장자리를 따라 검거나 흑황색 띠가 있다. 눈을 관통하는 수직 띠도 검정색이거나 흑황색이다. 산호초 지대의 잔돌밭에서 산다. 주로 두 마리가 짝지어 다니며 작은 저서 무척추동물을 먹는다.

Distribution: Western Pacific/southern Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysian Peninsula, Indonesia and NG.
General: White with series of yellow dots, running at diagonal lines over the sides. Fins yellow(except pectorals), ventral fins white or yellowish white. Blackish rim on rear body. Blackish or yellowish black eye band. Usually in pairs, feed on benthic invertebrates. Oviparous.
