▶1940. 서울산. 1960년 경동중고등학교 졸업.
▶1966. 연세대학교 상경대학 경제학과 졸업
▶1979~1981. 한국잠수동호회 회장.
▶1979. 8. "스킨스쿠바 다이빙 원리" 저. 한국최초 잠수교과서. 총296쪽. 당시 군대의 잠수관련 특수부대들도 잠수교과서가 없어서 본서를 참고했으며 SSU, UDT, 공수특전단. UDU, 이름이 가물가물하지만 SSI?(인천 주둔 특수 첩보 부대) 등의 장교들이 필자에게 찾아와 자문을 구하기도 했다.

▶1966. Bachelor in economics. Yonsei University.
▶1979~1981. Chairman of Korean Diver's Society.
▶1979. 8. Wrote & Publish; "Skin Scuba Diving Principles". The first diving manual in Korea. Total 296 pages. At this time, no diving manual even in diving units of Korean military including UDT, SSU, UDU(Counter Intelligence Corps of Krean army), and Airborne Ranger
▶1980. PADI Instructor.
▶1982. Translate & Publish; "The Silent World" by Captain Jacques Cousteau and Frederic Dumas.

1970년대 후반 필자의 가족 사진. 촬영/김생수(사진 작가). 장소/강원도 장호리. 우측 끝에 보이는 붉은 색 물체는 군대가 화염 방사기에 사용하는 공기 압축기이다. 미군 부대에서 유출된 장비이다. 이 장비로 탱크에 공기를 충전해서 다이빙 하였다. 당시에는 다이버가 화염방사기용 공기 압축기와 스쿠바 탱크를 직접 휴대하고 다녀야 했다. 화염 방사기 압축기는 너무 비싸서 다이버들이 소유한 것은 전국에 단 몇 대 밖에 없었다.

Once upon a time, the author with family. Late 1970's. Place;Jang-ho-ri, Gangwon-do, east coast of  Korean Peninsular. The red object at right side is a compressor for military flame thrower. Divers' only means for compressing air. At that time air compressor illregally leakaged from army was very expensive and commercial rental scuba tanks unavailable.
